Frances grew up in Matlock, Derbyshire. Her interest in jewellery began at a very young age, though exploring her grandma’s old jewellery box. She loves big statement pieces that really stand out and as well as the smaller pieces which subtly complete an outfit.
Frances studied Applied Art where she experimented with different materials including textiles, plastics and metals. Currently she is specialising in silver but still carries an influence through from her textile background, creating finely worked and delicate structures with texture.
Her passion for anything vintage or antique has supplied inspiration for the shapes and forms that appear in her work. Her work is very three-dimensional and really comes to life when worn, making a strong statement. Each piece is handmade and completely unique so no two are the same.
