Shimara completed a degree in Silversmithing and Jewellery in 2001, at the Glasgow School of Art, and went on to a 2 year residency at Bishopsland Workshops in South Oxfordshire. In 2004 Shimara moved to London where she set up her own business and workshop, and in 2008 she relocated to Melbourne Australia, where she now has a beautiful garden studio, allowing her to look after her young family and continue to create her jewellery and silverware.

This beautiful textured wrap ring is from Shimara’s classic wrap range, inspired by birds nests and natural structures.
Hammered and textured silver wire is wrapped and woven to produce a unique ring that is beautifully simple and elegant. It features a stunning one of a kind pear shaped sapphire with a small diamond offset to the side. Both stones are set in 18ct yellow gold collets.
Sterling silver wire band measures approx 8mm wide.
The sapphire measures approx 9mm x 6mm with the diamond measuring approx 1.5mm.
As this ring is a one off we only have one size in stock, so please get in touch to see if this can be re-sized for you if needed.
