Lindsey has designed and made jewellery since graduating from Middlesex University in 2002. Having been torn between a course in textile print or jewellery, this mixed-media jewellery course offered the opportunity for her to happily meld the two together.
Lindsey is recognised for her innovative approach to decoration on anodised aluminium. Finding inspiration in domestic surface patterns and prints, Lindsey creates colourful jewellery which has a soft industrial aesthetic, with a hint of modern nostalgia.
Each design is handmade from screen printed anodised aluminium and oxidised silver to produce pieces which are layered, framed or contained. Choosing low-tech hand processes and traditional metalwork techniques enables Lindsey to work intuitively and create one-off pieces each and every time.
Having worked in group studios across the south Lindsey has now settled with her family in the wilds of Wiltshire where she lives and works surrounded by woodland and stunning countryside.
