Jenny Turtill

Jenny studied at Brighton University and gained a degree in 3D design, she specialized in jewellery and did a special training programme in Cambridge where she learnt cuttlefish casting which is the distinctive feature of her work.

Jenny creates intricate surface textures with the use of cuttlefish bone and combines, silver, bronze and gold cast pieces with semi precious stones and beads, to make unusual personal pendants, earrings, bangles, rings and brooches.

Jenny is currently exploring new techniques in Germany and has set up a workshop where she lives in Diessen near Munich with her family. However she regularly exhibits her work at the Brighton open house shows and when back in England works at Jo Swans workshop in Lewes.
